Hearings on Amended Ordinances - Resolution No. 33-02
To amend the Anne Arundel County Charter to delete the requirement that the County Council set a hearing and hold proceedings on an amended ordinance in the same manner as on a newly introduced ordinance, but retaining the requirement that a hearing be set.

Fire Administrator - Resolution No. 34-02
To amend the Anne Arundel County Charter to change the name of the Fire Administrator to Fire Chief and to have the Fire Chief be directly responsible to the County Executive.

Office of the County Executive - Vacancy - Resolution No. 40-02
To amend the Anne Arundel County Charter to provide that when a vacancy in the Office of the County Executive occurs during the first 12 months of a term, the vacancy shall be filled by nomination and election by the qualified voters of the County at elections for members of Congress; to provide for an interim appointment by the County Council; to provide that when such a vacancy occurs after the first 12 months of a term, the vacancy shall be filled by appointment by the County Council; to require the County Council to conduct public interviews; and to retain requirements related to qualification, political party affiliation, and service of the unexpired term by the new County Executive.

Binding Arbitration for Law Enforcement Employees - Resolution No. 44-02
To amend the Anne Arundel County Charter to require that the County Council to adopt an ordinance providing for binding arbitration of disputes between the County and the uniformed officers of the Police Department, Sheriff's Department, and Office of Detention Facilities.

To amend the Anne Arundel County Charter to require that the County Council adopt an ordinance providing for binding arbitration of disputes between the County and the County's uniformed firefighters."

To amend the Anne Arundel County Charter to permit the County Council to increase the minimum dollar amount for purchases and contracts requiring competitive bidding, without limitation.

Uniform Bidding - Resolution No. 38-02, as amended
To amend the Anne Arundel County Charter to require that only for competitive sealed bids and proposals, a bidder shall submit a sworn statement that the bidder has not been a party to an agreement with other bidders.
